Sort of a slow day at Salt Lick.  My son, Cody and I arrived at 6:45a and found that the property had received a lot more rain than we anticipated.  Even though roads were very muddy in certain spots, we had no problem reaching the lake. The ramp was rocked enabling us to launch and retrieve the boat without a hitch.

Water temperature was 80 degrees and visibility was about 8 inches on the south end of the lake and 18 inches to 2 feet on the east side.

Early morning top water bite was good and then nothing on top for the rest of the day.  Little success with plastics but nothing was consistent.

Some deep water here but as in previous reports no bites in the deep water. We were off the water at 2:45p so nothing to report for the late afternoon.
