Scenario – 10-15 FOW, Water clarity is 3 feet or less, Temp is 80 on top, so deeper is still cold.  I’ve seen large patches of these little holes.  Bluegill and bass at this lake don’t spawn that deep in this water clarity.  Lake has crappie, tilapia, catfish, limited roughfish.  Bass/Bluegill beds are generally in 4-5FOW or much much less. 

Any thoughts?

Are tilapia present?

Yeah, we added tilapia this year.  So they nest that deep? 

In clear water, I would certainly think so.
