Welcome to the club – once I get through tax season, my schedule will open up and should be able to take some days off.  Always happy to meet up with fellow members.  I tend to be more of a numbers guy but hoping to step it up in the bigger bass department this year.

I know it is a bit of a hike, but if you want to hit some non-PWF lakes too, give me a shout too.  I go out at least twice a week here and fish both DFW and/or east Texas lakes.  Fairfied is a former power plant lake with good hydrilla and I’ve had 40+ bass days with the biggest going for 8.

Cental Texas has some pretty serious fly fishing going on. Used to see one guy land big ones on a fly rod. I recall he broke a rod on a 9lb bass once, on the Guadalupe I think.

Welcome Joseph, and fellow Northerner here from NW Indiana and left in the mid 90’s in search of warmer weather. The areas surrounding Lake Michigan and all the lakes up to and including the Ontario province are awesome fisheries but confident you will really enjoy all of the PWC properties. 

I got a few nice ones on the fly yesterday on Salt Lick.
