DFW Boat Rentals

This is a long shot I know.

But I am looking to rent a bass boat for a day and half near DFW this spring.  Needs to be trailerable.  Doesn't need to be super fancy, a tracker or something like that would work.  Big engine wont be used much and only to put around with.  Will never be on plane.

Anyone know of anyone or a place that does this?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Chris,

Only one I am aware of is on Lake Fork.  www.rickysboatrental.com

I have never used them so have no opinion of the service.  Good luck.

Thanks Keith.  I tried them and they only allow you to use on Lake Fork.

I have looked for the last couple of seasons and haven't been able to find anyone close to DFW that does it.

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately, I don't think something like this exists. There are a few boat clubs, where you pay an annual fee for the use of pontoon, wake board, and wake surf boats. But nothing for a weekend bass boats. Boats are a maintenance nightmare, especially if they are not your own. Nobody wants to deal with rentals where the trolling motor breaks, batteries don't charge, ect... Much less a place that would loan a trailer with a boat. The trailer offers another level of maintenance issues.

Thanks guys.  I knew it would be long shot.

On the other hand, if anyone wants me to make a couple of boat payments for them and loan me your boat for a couple of days, let me know.  Another long shot, I know.
