Steve Alexander and I went and test fished Lee Lake. Beautiful lake with some dumb fish. Dumb enough that even Steve and I caught them. We started off with frogs running them over the vegetation. Most of our luck was on 4-6 inch swim baits on the shallow side of the lake. We ran them in between the vegetation and caught somewhere between 20-30 really nice fish (all in the 2-3.5lb size class) over the 3 hours that we were there. The pontoon boat was great with plenty of room for gear and significantly more stable than the jon boats i'm used to fishing in. Bottom line: great quantity and quality with the chance of catching a monster.
