Fished with member, Scott Benson, all afternoon on 4-12. Wind was from the north, which make it rough until the wind eventually moved out of the SE. That made fishing on the shallow south end better. no luck catching any crappie, but we did catch a 5, 4.24, 3.25, 3, 3, 2.5 and 2, and a few other strikes. All were caught along the bank, shallow in and way up in the channel into the woods/jungle. Pink and motor oil/chartreuse tip senkos, crawfish plastics and ribbitt frogs. Hal, the owner, is super nice guy.

John,

I like this property as well. Nice sized average fish. Caught mine in the same area you did. Hal is a great owner.

I think this will be a typical 1/2 day of fishing with 5-15 fish and an average fish size of 3 to 3.5 lbs. FYI, a 3 to 3.5 lb AVERAGE is really nice average. You are likely not going to catch dozens of fish, but most of what you catch will be solid.
